As part of our support of cloud ecosystems and desire to simplify the customer and partner experience, we are pleased to announce the availability of simplified licensing with Backup Exec Subscription. New customers can now choose between three options, Bronze, Silver and Gold, depending on their specific needs and on subscription license based terms.

Now Live - New Veritas Financial Benefit portal in PartnerNet |
Veritas is transitioning to new systems supporting PartnerNet to ultimately provide an enhanced partner experience. As a result, a new Financial Benefit portal became available 24 October 17. Eligible Partners may now access their Opportunity Registration, Growth Accelerator Rebate and Veritas Partner Development Fund information all housed in one convenient location.

Announcing Veritas Backup Exec and Information Map integration |
We are excited to announce a public preview of the integration of Veritas Information Map with Backup Exec, supporting better data visibility for Backup Exec customers. Backup Exec will be configured to populate Information Map with metadata of your customer's unstructured data, allowing them to identify areas of risk, value, waste and interest - significant in helping meet regulatory requirements such as GDPR.

NetBackup 8.1 now supports Hadoop, Nutanix, and MySQL |
NetBackup 8.1 continues to deliver on its promise for on-demand modern workload protection optimized for cloud-scale Big Data, Hyperconverged environments, as well as Open Source scale-out and RDBMS applications. Leveraging NetBackup Parallel Streaming technology, agentless plugin support for Hadoop and Nutanix are now available for download, as well as MySQL for Open Source RDBMS at https://my.veritas.com.
